Configuring a repository

After a repository has been created and synchronized with its source vaults, its configuration contains only the default information necessary for basic operation. To expand the repository's functionality and customize it for users' requirements, you must modify the configuration. The configuration includes two areas:

• Definitions of the object types, properties, references, and filters for both documents and object tags. Configuring these definitions primarily controls what information is seen by users. These options can be found in the BlueCielo Meridian Explorer branch of a repository in the .
• Definitions of the grid columns, property navigation structures, advanced search, navigation views, property pages, and lists used for both documents and object tags. Configuring these definitions primarily controls how information is found and seen by users. These options can be found in the Meridian Explorer Configurator by users who are a member of the group specified by the AdminUserGroup setting described in Securing the configuration.
